i decided to make my own dollar store adventure after watching a video here on youtube.

A busy day, just back from the zoo today. I just wanted to talk about a bit of a sideline to my positive mindset stuff. I don't think there's anything quite more positive than being productive and creating and doing your own work and getting ahead and moving towards your goals. last week I got a bit distracted with a black-and-white photography challenge and you know that’s great it’s fun, but the problem is I don’t really have any time to do that kinda stuff, but there's another challenge which has come to my attention is Michael Warth’s has done a #7MinDrawingChallenge which aligns perfectly with what I'm trying to do, get a page of a kids book out each day. So if I can illustrate that within seven minutes and then colour it out over the following day then, you know, I'm getting stuff done every day I'm feeling good about it because I’m actually producing some work and so if you can add any of those challenges or even make up your own challenge and see if anyone else wants to join in it's a great way of getting some accountability on getting meeting your goals. #NoSmallCreator #ForkInTheRoad

Amazon affiliates, merchandise, Patreon are all really good ways of monetising your journey. I think it's really important that you put this in place early on in your journey, because then you can start to see a little bit of income. Then you might be able to gauge what might be working and what isn't working. Because if nobody is buying your little bits and pieces that you're putting out which is going towards your larger piece of content maybe your larger piece of content is actually not going to work. So I think it's not only a monetising your journey thing, it's a testing ground for that thing, where you can put the feelers out and see if it's there’s actually a market for what you're trying to do, which might save you some time in the Long run.

Vlog 59
This morning I wish I was vlogging on more than my phone, because I got some lovely kangaroos that we just running past in the distance and you can't really zoom in with a phone well you can, but it looks like hell. Yesterday no vlog went up, but I did shoot the Vlog. But I was sticking to my number one value in my ‘How’ part of the Golden circle which was putting being a stay at home dad first and that pretty much meant shooting my vlog at the very end of the day in the dwindling daylight and not getting enough time to edit which means a double edit tonight but you know that's okay I think a lot of people get caught up in 24 hours of the day and that's it. I'm kinda putting that out further to more like you know seven days in the week and if some days it means I don't get much done and other days I can get more done that's good my goals are more about getting seven vlogs out a week and one podcast, As well as my other work which I'm gonna start trying to fit in soon.

Vlog 44
So today as you might of seen on my Twitter feed that I'm going to the dentist. and you know, you might think that's not related at all. Why you doing that? Well I'm kind of thinking about fear and fear of acting. Like I haven't been to the dentist in over 30 years and not until today when I've actually got such a bad toothache that I'm in agonising pain do I actually do something about it and I think that comes back to my subject last week when I was talking about doing things which make you uncomfortable doing things which make you nervous. Because they're only going to make you better in the Long run. I've been putting off going to the dentist all this time and like I'm not gonna die, I hope I'm not gonna die, anyway we’ll find out…
So here I am at the other end of the dentist trip and my main takeaway from this whole exercise apart from my tooth is that don't put things off, because if you do you might lose the tooth. And you know you might miss opportunities, you might miss out on lots of things, and you know this fear of the unknown you've got to overcome, and it's funny that putting up with this tooth pain this agonising pain was way more painful than getting it removed, in fact having it removed didn't hurt at all. So I suppose the take away is to take that giant leap to make that step and it might not be as scary as you think.

#ForkInTheRoad Vlog 133
Rather than getting depressed or getting bogged down or getting fixed on the struggles and living your struggles. I think it's good to be able to try and embrace them and see what good can come out of them, see what those struggles can teach you and make you a better person in the long run and turn those struggles into superpowers. If I can focus on those strengths then I might be able to get a head a bit. I might be able to have a chance at my career pivot experiment,building a successful career doing something that I love, I certainly hope that I can. If you're struggling with anything please hop over onto the all humans struggle Facebook group and share with everyone there, it’s a very supportive community. And of course if you're struggling with any mental health issues - I'm not quite sure which services are available in your country - but really take people up on their services. I did and I find it really helps to talk these things out with people. #AllHumansStruggle #NoSmallCreator
