Twin Flames was composed by Jose to honor his relationship with Ana – and celebrate their auspicious union.
Like many sublime insights, Twin Flames was a song a long time in the making.
The concept of 'Twin Flames' was introduced to Jose in the 1980s, during the uprising of 'The New Age'.
Jose recalls:
"One day while having coffee with a psychic medium in 1989, I heard the term 'Twin Flames' for the first time.
"She told me 'Twin Flames' incarnate in the same lifetime to help the planet’s ascension, they walk side by side with other light-workers (star seeds and angelic beings) to help raise the planet’s and humanity’s frequency."
"Wow…I thought, I really like that...then asked her where is my 'Twin Flame'? She told me to be patient saying that when I was ready, she would come...OMG how I hated those type of ambiguous replies, nonetheless even if 'Twin Flames' was only New Age Jargon, I had at least a great name for a song."
Fast forward to 2014: Jose & Ana would meet in Ceremony in Sydney, Australia when Jose performed an Aboriginal Welcome Blessing for Ana with some of the members of his Dance Company 'Descendance'. The 'Twin Flames' would once again be united.
During the first year of their courtship it dawned on Jose that Ana was indeed his 'Twin Flame'. Now he finally had the inspiration to write that song which had been an idea since 1989 and here it is...
Twin Flames was shot in Rishikesh, India during Jose & Ana's guest teaching role at The International Yoga Festival, 2018.
